Repaint of Murph's B25

This has been one of my favorite paint scheme since I first saw it over fifty years ago. This B25J was assigned to the 12th Bomb Group in Naples Italy and the moved to the 10th Air Force in India in 1944.

Anyhoo, this is an extensive repaint, with special attention to the glazing on the nose and canopy, and staggering the the waist gunner which were directly across from each other in the kit. I swapped out the cowlings and nacelles with the one designed by William Aldridge for his Doolittle Raider. I added exhaust ports to the cowlings and put in full wheel wells. I used and slightly modified the 14 cylinder engines from Kancho's Helldiver. I also used the wheels and tires from John Dell's B17s.

This is what I came up with.

Excellent work on the model and also a great repaint.
Certainly one of the most interesting B-25s. Thanks for showing it.

Excellent work.I remember seeing B-25 in this livery on some exhibition, judging by google search it's pretty popular.

William Aldridge for his Doolittle Raider-was that the kit available on ecards last time?I was wondering about that kit,I don't think I've seen any pictures of finished one (or the TBD Devastator).

Fantastic build, repaint and kit bash (all in one). You definitely did this kit justice.
