Welcome to the Dark Side of the Force (Inkscape) Lorenzo!!!! It is assumed that you have already seen the sjsquirrell tutorial, and if you have not seen it I put the link. Recoloring ScissorsAndPlanes models with Inkscape I also recommend this YouTube channel about Inkscape. It is in Spanish (from Spain) but the author explains very well. https://www.youtube.com/c/VideoTutoriales20/videos
Into the Bruno's thread Master CAFE (Carlos Ferreira) touches many topics as reescale, layers, and so on. See the next posts: #5705 and #5711 How to upscale in detail by CAFE. #9262 Layers. #11306 How to recolor with layers, #11358 How to make Checkers , and many others like using the Blurr tool, and trace width, etc.I hope all of this serves to you and others, Best Regards, Tigertony 100.
P.S. There is an individual who actually resist to The Dark Side of the Force (Wireandpaper) but I don't lose hope.

Why is Inkscape, "The Dark Side of the Force"? It is a very good vector drawing program, in some ways better than Illustrator (e.g., node editing), and totally free. I can understand wishing to use a different program due to familiarity or requirement for a particular tool, but there is nothing even remotely 'Dark' about Inkscape. If anything, anyone becoming an active creator of models is joining the, "Light Side of the Force", by becoming a source of information and joy for others.

I completely agree with you, my friend. This is a joke between Wireandpaper and myself. He doesn't want lo learn Inkscape because he says is "addictive" and then he's not going to end recoloring. Yeah, Inkscape is a powerful tool and program, that's why I recommend it. Best Regards, Tony.

Dear Lorenzo, very nice work on the Attacker and the Austrian recolor!

If I learn Inkscape I would be recoloring day and night, and I have family commitments.
Not only that, you have to build what you print, and my back log is long.
I wish I could do "One model per (working) week"

I will remain in the safer side of the force since I know what is to be addicted (to pl.....c).

Very interesting the way this topic developed, thanks to Antonio, Damraska, Brianne, Juan Angel and Pablo for comments...

By the way here are the typhoons, with my 2 recolors i also included three Cafe and one Michael Kaintoch repaints.

All models are upscaled to 1:100
