The build process is start to be close to it's end. Most of cockpit instruments were installed and next comes the ejection seat hud and canopy.

You're almost done! Yair looks magnificent, does the cabin interior come with the design or is it your own creation?

Dear Sergio - the model comes without a cockpit but in this case I
added the cockpit from other sabre models that had full one.
So it is a real sabre cockpit.

F-86D Sabre dog 1:48 - Build diary

The Sabre dog is almost done.
The cockpit is done as the pitot in the right wing and surplus fuel pipe at the rear. To finish completely the model the cabopy is next. There is an option for under wings fuel tanks that I need to check if I want to add as well.

F-86D Sabre dog 1:48 - Build diary

As I already said Murph's models are a good base for upgrades .
The adding of a complete cockpit compartment is very important in my eyes as it give the model more realism . A pitot tube in the edge of right wing and fuel surplus release tube at the rear are other add ones. I attach here some more images.

Hi Don - Thanks ! this model was repainted by Brent and I really like the livery.
As for the canopy this one came OK despite having 5 slits each side as I
have not yet adapted myself to vac form.

Nice build, I like the canopy. I have tried to do the clear canopy with slits but it never works out.
