Martin B-10, B-12 and 139 in 1/100 Scale Thread
Hi people is a new project and a good oportunity for revise older builds and replace for new with better skills.
Years a go I made a repaint and conversion for B-10 from Fiddlers Green, designed by Aaron, first i made a Martin WH-3 (166) and after a Martin 139 WAN. B-10 is a good kit designed from FG beside a age (is designed in 2007), capture very well the shape of B-10, but have a problem: the canopy is too short and in same time too high in comparation of real aircraft. So like a Martin 166 I redesing a new canopy, and put in a new build of Martin 139. In 2016 I repaint Martin 166 with correct ML-KNIL colors and now I build... In this pics some aspects of WIP from both models... In the next post the results... |

Beautiful job, the B10 is such a unique design and the FG kit is pretty good in general except the canopy problem you mentioned.
