Yeah, lack of research is the only explanation. They found a preserved F-100D painted in the Skyblazers scheme and called it a day.

Are these updated models of the Tbirds and Skyblazers?
Thank you Carlos!

Yes! I think the only change to the T-birds compared to the version I sent you is the color of the walkways on the wings (black instead of red). Some models don't show them at all, including the TSMC one. For the Slyblazers the only change is on the 61-62 version with some colors added to the nose landing gear door. No change if you don't install the landing gear.

There's an unreleased one by Steven75 (see page 5). I haven't heard of him since january. Also check page 16 of this thread for the version by Campeon1977.

Test-build of the Area 88 F-100D in order to check camo alignment.

Autumn/Winter isn't my favourite season for paper modeling with the sun currently setting at 5 PM. I started too late yesterday and couldn't complete the build in a day, stopping at 4 PM with the fuselage almost done.

The coloring mistake on the aft fuselage led to an edit of the template in Inkscape and that's while doing it that I crushed the model under my elbow. Oops!

I printed a second (corrected) example and built it this morning, completing the first first one too since it didn't show much damage. I really should remember to add the fin after the canopy/spine, not before.

Thank you very much!
I usually build one model per type, but your collection of F-100 is tempting me to be more accommodating with my rules!
