F-4C Phantom II,in 1/100 by S & P, repaint by Brent
Greetings The famous Phantom in a version repainted by Brent
The fuselage is not easy, in reality the difficult thing was to find where and how many pieces go and the way they carry The fantastic thread of Ted solved all the problems and guided me in the process. The design is very good, everything goes smoothly. |

Thank you all very much !! The Phantom is an airplane that is among my ten favorites. Dave, look for the CMDRTED thread, thanks to it I was able to solve the problems I had, I think without this guide I could not have built it very well. I know how to put the link to Ted's thread, in these things I am still very rough😨

F4M Phantom 1/100 S&P
Very good work Sergio. Here is the better link to phantom construction. you have done a great job on this. the phantom is the 2nd hardest of Bruno's kits to build. the first is the tomcat. I must have had 5-10 failures before it came out presentable. now you need a mig 17 or 21 to dogfight with! |

Great job, in particular since the fuselage has so many compound curves as you point out.
In that regard, at the risk of being considered hyper critical ... the model's tail end is not very correct around the exhaust nozzles. If you're going to do another copy of this model and want shape the rear a little "better", you may want to reference this picture: As you can see from that diagram, going from the bottom up, after wrapping around the exhaust nozzles, the fuselage curves IN, and then blends into the upper fuselage. Note here that the exhaust nozzles are canted down, and in the F-4C the nozzles are short relative to later models. One more little thing ... the inboard wing pylons are too far forward on the model - they need to be moved back to allow the leading edge flaps to lower. Please understand that I am not critizing your work, but only giving some detail that may be useful in a future build. Respectfully, Gene K |
