my other single seat Yak 17 was given away 2 years ago. I may need to build another one ( but with a repaint; future projects I suppose ).

Yak 15, 17, 17W, 23 ( Polish and Soviet )
Yak 19,25, 30 ( first designations )
Yak 25M ( second designation )
Yak 1000


still more to build is the MaksArt Yak 140 and I am sure more like the Yak 130 new trainer/attack plane ( an Italian collaboration ) ......

Thank you for sharing the family photo of these obscure, yet important jets.
Although opaqued by the superb Mig-15 they played a role for training and showing off Soviet might!

The first generation jets were all about the variable ways of achieving jet powered flights. There were so many options to try. Lots of improvements and dead ends . There are so many subjects to model.
