I don't think that would work mate, a bit light in the floats department.

just for fun

Here is another antarctic Beaver from the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition on board of the Soya.
The simple model was enlarged from 1/500 to 1/400.

ps: Clearly the overall red of the Argentinian Beavers would work better in case of need!
