Fuselage center section- part 1
Here is where the main landing gear housing is attached to.
The cut out Joined and the plain housing box. The bays are glued from the inside using light pressure and try to fit around the cutout. Kind of small and very tight fit around the cut out. It should have been a bit larger so they fit better as there is plenty of room here. I added a wood spar inside the fuselage to support the wing spars later on. close up that section with bulkhead frame #8. Note, the hole in the frame is for the forward engine exhaust. Isaac

Fuselage center section- part 2
Now add the transition part 13 to the center fuselage
The final part of the center fuselage is part 14. Note that the triangular colored section on the bottom is the rounded indent to allow for the forward engine to exhaust below the fuselage. And installed Isaac

Aft fuselage -section 15
Section 15 belongs to the aft fuselage boom section. Instead of completing it with the rest of the rear, I decided to add it to the center fuselage because it is round on both ends and easier to assemble.
here it is attached and a close up of the lower exhaust section ( I snipped a bit too much of the triangular dark location when I had to make an adjustment. No worries, it will be touched up later ). Here is the lower exhaust . Note: The kit provides a whole set of ducting and rear engine frame for this forward engine exhaust. However, it is nearly invisible . So why build it all. I elected to only use the small duct that extends outside. The 4 bent tabs are for centering it inside. Here is the assembly and here is what I chose to do: Isaac

Optional rear engine issue
The kit provides a complete ( although very plain and simple ) rear engine and exhaust duct assembly that can be installed.
In order to use it and have the rear fuselage removable multiple times, it would be necessary to make a more robust attachment, or display the model with the rear removed ( like I have done on my Mig-15 UTI ( which I modified to include in that model ). However........ This is a very unusual experimental plane and is not known to many. So if it is split to display the engine, it will take away from the overall looks of the model. So for me, I elected not to build the engine. Here is what Model-Kom shows of their built version: Another option to consider is to build two engines later on and display next to the aircraft on stands. Your choice. Isaac

Isaac,
I would agree that because the aircraft is so unusual (and the engine isn't very detailed), it should be built without the split fuselage. Gary

for educational purposes, maybe have a lengthwise fuselage only split showing the two engines installed ( like a fish fillet ).

rear engine air intake
Even though, I decided no internal engines, I still wanted to see what this bulkhead will look like.
So here it is. It will be installed and never be seen again. Isaac

Aft fuselage
The aft fuselage ( boom ) is simple conical/round sections.
I started at the very back. Parts 19-20. However, there is a provision to have separate air brakes. unfortunately if I cut the inner portion out, the remaining ring on the section will be so flimsy as to make it super difficult to assemble ( I wish part 19 had more material; this is the designer thinking to cut out that portion after the entire rear is done. Secondly, adding speed brakes in deployed position will just distract from the aircraft lines ( I will drop the flaps though later on ). So here are the back sections 19/20 joined with a little relief cut. continue adding sections going forward and more forward sections to the boom inner frame completed aft boom Ready for mating with the rest of the fuselage Joined Isaac
