Thanks hrogers, Mike, rifleman!
The squeleton is assembled in 2/3 parts. Here in the pictures you can see it, compared againts the first version. It's fun but it remembers me a catfish. I suppose a Pby will seems too? I'm using tabs to hold the parts in place. And cutting small corrections in the model that will be reflected in the sheet parts soon. Anyway, I think this will be the final version of the fuselage squeleton. Yes, just glue the final spars, both gunner nest, and continue with the fuselage skin. Soon the fuselage and tail section will be finished!

Impressive fuselage I'm curious how you project skin.

Well, in previous post I said that I'm going to treat the fuselage like a flying BOAT, so the squeleton and skin will be applied like a ship.
The internals are finished, so I'll reflect the last minute changes into the parts sheet and continue with the fuselage skin. I placed a picture of my 1/700 Titanic as an assembly reference. There is a lot of similarities between the stern of the Titanic and the bow of the Stranraer, and there will be a lot of similarities in the skin aplication. I placed too a Swordfish and a Cessna 152 as a size reference. The Swordfish has the same engine as the Stranraer will have, and a very similar camouflage as one that the Stranraer had. (The camouflage that will be released with this plane will be a full silver one, as you can see).

Well, the first test was... the first test.
As I say: "first try goes bad, second one is so-so, and the next are good going to better" I'm using recicled yellow paper for the first test, it's not a new camouflage!

Ok, Second try. MUCH better.
Still some issues to fix, but small issues. Milimetric issues. The plane, or at least the fuselage, is going to need small tabs between all contact surfaces of the squeleton and the skin. But I'm not going to include them in the parts catalog, because I'll assume a minimum level of skill by the modeller. Maybe difficult 3 of 5?
