SPAD XIII 1/33rd by Luis P. Igualada
All,
I just finished this one. If you like WWI and want an extremely accurate rendition of a SPAD...pick one up! Goes together like a dream. Dan P.S. Sorry for the tiny thumbnails. I'll post bigger shots ASAP! |

Wow! What a great build! One question: did you use a thin paper as suggested or regular card?

Thanks, Everyone!
Sergio: I used 65 lb. paper which is thicker than what's called for. When I ran into trouble (not often), I just sanded the paper down a bit. Worked fine. And the 65 lb. paper was just fine for all the surfaces etc. It's so well designed, that you do need to pay attention to 1mm or 0.8mm thicknesses as stated. I just loved putting it together. My wife got me the Albatros in the same series. Can't wait to build that one! Cheers, Dan |
