I have it built in the Race 57 configuration. Whichever configuration you build it is an excellent design and well worth the price!!

1947? 1949? Or does it matter? And no, I'm not committing to building it, I was just curious...

The #74 (at least the model as released by Gremir) can be built as the 1947 or 1949 version of this plane. The differences are not substantial.

Thanks Chris for doing this and thanks Cecil for building it. If possible a build thread would be nice as well.

I wish I had them.

I'd happily pay for William Aldridge's Goodyear F2G-1s, but ECardmodels no longer lists his models. Is it available anywhere? Is William Aldridge on the forum? I regret not purchasing them long ago. Thanks! Last edited by jtalle; 12-27-2020 at 03:03 PM. Reason: Meh, just formatting to make it pretty. |
