GPM Me 262

Howdy,

Just a heads Up.

It certainly will help when building this model to have the step by step instructions in English.

Using only the exploded view line drawings one has to ponder for a few assemblies; is the printing on the outside or inside and where does a part go when it is not shown.
A few parts are not indicated on the exploded line drawing instruction page.

Anticipating build problems I copied the parts pages onto 67lb cardstock.

The model is going together but due to not being certain I had to thankfully copy and reprint some parts.

There is a deceptive drawing on the instructions for the wing spar, can’t really see where the angle back occurs in the spar, heads up on that..

Wheel discs

Howdy,
Thought I’d share this wheel/tire method.
Me 262 Internet WWII photos show rather auto tire shapes.
Even though provided wood wheels, thank you Adam, I decided to make ‘em out of cardboard for this model copy.
Simple and quick:
A cheap punch set purchased at Harbor Freight makes quick discs.
Shaped using a drill motor and 100 grit.
Applied liberal coating of black watercolor.

Me 262 Completed

Wingspan 14 inches
Length 12 inches
Hight to tail top 4 1/2 inches.

Special thank you to Akremedy; thank you Adam.

I needed an Me 262 model to help enhance a short aviation history
presentation. This will work nicely for our small group of veterans.
