Jim Gausman, who designed the Beaver model and started this thread, is a member of DGA. You can contact him by sending a private message (http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/p...do=newpm&u=128) or post a message to him in this thread.

As Petestein mentioned, many of the DGA models are available from ECards: Shop Models - EcardModels

Aerocivil Colombia is not official repaint from DGA, maybe is a repaint make from Fiddlers Green model (is the same design but with small differences and minus details). Contact me, Guido, Yukojohn or Jim Gausman via PM for more informations or requests for any special livery from Beaver (not cover in range)

But all DGA models are sold in Ecardmodels, is a official shop, models are still up in the shop.

I am sorry that I missed reading this old post.

The dgapapermodels website vanished after John Bowden passed away, and did not leave us with a password. The DGA models are being restored to Ecardmodels
Do you mean this one: Aerocivil?

Thank you very much for the information! I will try to buy it and assemble it. If has a special meaning for me because I grew up in Colombia in the 70s and 80s and my father worked for Aerocivil. This was the plane he used to visit small airports in development in remote areas. He had a few accidents with it, but both the plane and him could survive those dangerous times.

Terrific! I am happy to hear stories that our models have special significance!

This aircraft that was delivered brand new to Aerocivil in 1953 is still operational. It has returned to the north - and is operated by Emerald Air Service in Homer, Alaska. You can book a flight to see bears feeding on salmon!

Emerald Air Service
This is what she looks like now:

Every time that I think I have seen the most beautiful livery on a Beaver, I get surprised by a new one! This model is now published on Ecardmodels
