Great modeling of a very interesting aircraft. In the 50's and 60's each year new aircraft were presented or discovered (east or west). Today it takes 20 years or more for a new military aircraft to show of.

In the 50's and 60's, most planes only saw service for 1-10 years, so the cycle time from design to production had to be quick. Today, aircraft are in service for 40-50 years , so the cycle time can afford to be long. And in addition, there is a lot of government waste and corruption in awarding contracts, so that adds time to the cycle as well.

Anyhow, I love building experimental and early jets.

Thanks

Isaac
