Hi The model is excellently executed, but let me make an observation. To my knowledge, a paper model need not be ashamed to show the propeller cone or fuselage joints. The cone is perfect, but the model already enters "something else". Paper, wood, plastic ...? But the point is to enjoy this hobby. I would like to see a discussion on this, as I myself use wire and wood in my models, especially boats. Anyway excellent Mustang. Regards

This is present status of this Stang, Ive been hurrying a bit but still the Halinski design works. I was really hesitant to cut this one up, but the silver print looks good although is harder to build cleanly. Tried some attempt at diagonal tread, pushing on to get a spot on my shelf at work with my my Allison mustang

Llaut Mallorquin, yes I agree with you, the purest way to build would be without any modification from design. This being said I think paper is particularly amenable to modifications if the builder would like to do so. The pure builds of great designs look great, I can't seem to ever be to
avoid changing a few things but it's fine as long as the builder is happy with the result as that is what matters really.

Hi
Indeed it is the most important. Be satisfied with the built model. I make cardboard boats and the masts are made of wood. Your plane is perfect, very good work, I like it very much Regards

Running low on parts now to add to this one, here's the prop construction and showing some shaping of the wing fairings before they were added. Now have built most of the control surfaces and they are going on, with the flaps that I'm doing differently than the kit. Will be finished shortly the canopy was made quite a long time ago, its not perfect but I think will be ok although I can make another if needed pics to follow

I've admired your builds for a long time -- thanks for each one you've "documented".

Thank you Gene, it's fun to share projects and makes me try harder a bit Also it's nice to build some of these Hal kits because they seem intimidating to begin but really are models that go together like any other model and maybe more guys will build them..
