I saw two great looking Vampires from Norway in a flying condition at RIAT (air show) 3 years ago.

Hello rifleman, Tony and Cybermac, thank you all for the interest and kind comments. The rivets really add to the model, I was luky to fined a drawing that includes the riveting.

Thanks Gary. The booms are fine, but after assembly of one, I understood that there is a problem - booms are not parallel as seen in the picture.



I think the problem is in the wings, so back to the drawing board.

Hello all,
Finally I cracked the problem with the tail booms assembly to the wings. Had a mistake in the wing drawings and discovered that right location and angle of the booms is sensitive to the wing profile and boom deformation in bonding to a close part. It took me two sets of wings and three sets of booms to have a good solution.







Next is to complete the tail and the intakes.
