DeHavilland Canada Otter models by DGA

I am beginning to build all of DGA's models of the venerable DHC-3 Otter. I am doing this so that I will have a picture of built models for when the models can be released on Ecardmodels. The first Otter is that of the Belgian Antarctic Expedition. Model livery by Guido Van Roy.

Excellent! I look forward to seeing more.

I finally did build the Vietnam-era Otter you sent me so long ago.

Eventually, I hope to build more. Thanks for making all those Beavers and Otters available, Jim.

Don, I am collecting photos of DGA models to use as cover photos when we are back to distributing them on Ecardmodels. Typically I hold the model by the tail with tweezers in front of distant scenery, and I crop my hand out of the picture. If you still have your Otter model, would you take a photo or two for me?

Jim - I still have the model and will, when time permits, unpack it and take a photograph.

Someday, I hope to build the 18th Aviation Company bird and the one in Navy white and orange.

Did you not also do 76135: the one at the U.S. Army Transportation Museum in white and high visibility markings? I seem to recall that the Museum curator crawled over the airplane to measure the markings for you, but perhaps that's a false memory.

I did work with the staff at the museum, but it was to detail olive colored models. The white and orange scheme might be one I need to tackle in the future.
