When I was there last they had material from all US wars, Revolutionary to Gulf, and interesting odds and ends as well, and the director was interested in receiving any type of material donation, if they could not display they could use it as something to trade, as drawing prizes, or as give-ways to donors, visitors, kids, etc. Germantown is worth a visit, its not far from Dayton, and the museum staff was friendly and approachable.
Have a good voyage to Venice.

I gave away most of the paper models this week. There are 5 at the Wright B museum and the rest are to my old Cincinnati model club members as give away.

Also, I gave hundreds of aviation magazines, books and some plastic kits.

I just did not feel like taking a ride to Germantown at this point.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Isaac

Thumbs down

I was not aware the Maly had a SU-17 model ( obviously it is not free ).

If it is like their old Su-22 ( and it probably is in Soviet colors ), then it is junk. It is wrong representation of the real plane. The nose section of the Maly model does not look like it should. I gave away my purchased copy.

Here are some pictures of the Maly model built. It is a joke if accuracy is of any value. This design belongs in the caricature department.

Question

It does look like an original design and not at all a Maly repaint.

Who is the designer of this model?

Isaac

From the photos, the design has the correct shape for this Suchoi 17. I like it.
