Incredible job, very well done. That is a model that I have always wanted to build but never had nerve enough to start.

A very impressive build! Your rigging and extra detailing really add eye appeal. Well done!

Hello rmks2000,
I still have the same problem when i make the planes rigging. But if you search on the web with the right keywords you will find 2D views, designs, plans and photos... that will help you. This is what I do for each of the models I build.
In fact, the real complexity is to get a rigging with taut thread without deform the parts or the model. I try to use a minimum of thread but with a maximum lenght , even if I have to cross the fuselage of the planes, in order to have a good tension on the lengths and also to avoid as many knots as possible at the location of junctions. Hope that will help you.

Beautiful job. FG did a nice job making the underside of the wings look translucent, with the ribbing causing shadows. You did a great job with the built, the details and the rigging. You gotta wonder how hard it must have been to be in a dogfight, and needing to reload. You need to steady the plane (with the joystick between your knees?) remove the spent ammo drum, grab a new one (which had to be quite heavy) and put it on the gun, make sure everything is aligned....all the while some German might be on your tail.
