Great paint touch up on the fuselage. The landing gear an wings look great too. Keep up the great work.

I see you using balsa wood. I've started using it for formers too, it saves my fingers.

Thanks al lot. Yeah, balsa wood is easy to cut and work with it. But sometimes it looks like hairy ball when its painted. But better, than to work with some layers of cardboard.

Very nice model indeed. To balsa, try to soak it some lack and sand it again lack and sand, will be smooth than.

Thanks for the idea. I will try it.

Meanwhile i made the glass for the cockpit. The material i used is a transparent heat shrink tubing. I made a shape of the cockpit hood and put it into the tube and used the heat gun to shrink it around the shape. Cheap and easy for me.

Hi Jacek,

this is a fine build of a model that is notoriously difficult to finish properly. I like the way you set the colours right. I saw you did cut out the wheels with a circular cutter. Never tried it this way. Looks like it worked out very neatly. Did you sand them by using a Dremel or similar? Plus you also got the angle of the wheels of the main landing gear right. Not something seen too often.

Kudos, Martin

Thanks, the right side of the cockpit (see pic) is not quite in its place. The frame is little bit to small. But I recognize it to late. Someday I will make it right. The papercraft itself is easy to build and the parts fits well together.

Hello Martin, I did the Wheels with hand-tools and circular cutter. But it only works for wheels that are not to thick. No Dremel was used. And you are right, that the wheels are to be set in this angle it was important to me too. Thanks a lot.
