EMBRAER EMB-120 Brasilia

After almost a year of trying and designing she saw the light at last. It's curious and some kind strange that nobody has not made this important light and conmuter airplane in paper before. Many issues still to fix and go but nothing to take awake our sleep. It's at 1/100 scale on 125 gr/cm2 Opalina paper.

So, there is one completed for the three planes never done I'm working on: EMB 120 Brasilia, Consolidated-Vultee B-32 Dominator and Savoia-Marchetti Marsupiale. Next the Dominator who's at 40% developed. Best Regards, Tony.

Congratulations Tony, your Embraer is looking great. An excelent design and build.
It reminds me a bit of the Swearinger Merlin IVA, which has also not been done in paper.

Regarding the Vickers Wellesley, Murph has done one in 1/41 scale. It is part of his Interwar series.

Thank you Sepp10:

I totally forgot about Murph's model. Mr. Butelczynski did a very nice build of the Vickers Wellesley late last year. Good designers and good modelers.

ps: Fascinating the history of the SAAF in East Africa and the Desert Air Force! Although the Wellesley was operated by the RAF.

Another plane never done in paper- Koolhoven FK.58 fighter.

Designed along the same concept as Curtiss-Wright CW-21 ,Ki-43 Oscar or Caudron C.714 .It was used operationally during Battle of France but without much of a success.I thought Bruno did one long ago but I can't find it on his list so I might be wrong.

Also Fokker C. X recon and light bomber. Dutch pilots flew it in 1940 but it gained well earned fame during Winter War.It was most important light bomber of Ilmavoimat at the time and served in that role till the end of Continuation War in 1944 .

If anyone did FK-58 it would have been Roman in his Kampflieger series . I don't know his contact and he doesn't sell his old kits anyway.

Hi. I found this old thread and was thinking about the short movie "The Shepherd" while singing Carol of the Bells.
And I wanted to ask: which model of plane, not necessary hidro and not necessary WWII, would you like that I do?
I'm reviewing some of the sugestions of this post and adding the to my "to do" folder!
Because the movie, I was thinking the Mosquito and the Vampire. Do you think that another model of Mosquito will have some people interested?

Fun thread! Tidy EMB-120 there. I don't currently have a Mossie on my wish list but could be tempted...

Not to call you or anyone out , but did anyone ever get an SM-64 missile plan together? With the booster? By the by, someone scratchbuilt a gorgeous model rocket version (which unfortunately crashed). I posted over on the Design Requests forum that one and some more, so here's that list plus a few extra suggestions to toss out there:
  • Aero Spacelines 377-SGT Super Guppy in ~1/288 (perhaps a mod of Murph's Pregnant Guppy)
  • Beriev VVA-14 in ~1/110
  • Boeing XB-15 in ~1/175 (the wings from which were repurposed for the 314 Clipper, so the plan could be a mod of Yankee Kilo's Clipper)
  • North American SM-64 in ~1/72
  • Northrop YF-23 Black Widow II in ~1/72, fully contoured
  • Rockwell B-1B Lancer in ~1/175
  • Rockwell XFV-12A in ~1/72
  • Rutan Voyager in ~1/96
  • Sikorsky MH-53E Pave Low and CH-53E Super Stallion in ~1/144
I'd love to take a crack at a couple of these designs myself someday, but other than a simple recolor, I haven't dug into doing so yet.
