Proud Mentor and Father
Behold... my 4 year old son’s first scratch built paper airplane model! I am so proud of my little man. He did it all on his own using construction paper without any help from me and he only had one photo of a C-130 one of his favorite planes.

Know what I miss most about being a kid?
The sheer joy in doing something and not getting lost in the details. You said he had only one photo of a C-130 to work from, yet he used that one photo to create his model. One. Me, I would have endlessly searched and researched and fallen victim to "analysis paralysis". Maybe I'm reading too much into his model, but I see joy. Pure, unadulterated joy. Thank you for bringing joy, Falco Jr! You both should be proud.

My little Sebastien is overjoyed with his first model and he is already thinking about his next build... he wants to build his second favorite plane, the F-18. I will post photos as soon as he finishes it.
