Designing the cowls and the propeller, the engines are already draw.
Tonigth I'll assemble and paint the wings, and print the first engine.

I didn't think He-115 had that slim fuselage.Looks like a very good model coming.

Yes, I was surprised too when I saw the pictures. Well, the inner section of the wings is attached and there have been made milimetric corrections of the joins between wings and fuselage. The inner section has a negative dihedral angle, giving it a small resemblance with the F4U Corsair. The second picture was made before gluing the wing to the fuselage, the real join is smooter. Once I assemble the outer side of the wings I'll decide the camouflage pattern, and I say decide because, as you can see, the original one is a guesswork. It'll be the same with the floats, the original ones were recovered in december 1942, but the museum is going to use a new set of floats still unpainted.

A bit more of color and improving the "glass" borders. You can see the tickness and the negative dihedral of the inner part of the wings.
I'll like to do a small quiz: I found 9 versions of the plane, including finish, swedish, spanish and british. Which one would you like to have? Just tell me the number(s) to know how many I will do. Just know that some of the profiles are incomplete, for example the spanish version and some of the german ones have the national simbols censored. The final planes will have an extra page were you can use/remove them.

Amazing work my friend!
Draco I would like to have a German version used at the beginning of the War in the Invasion of Norway without the winter paint. Norwegian version and Spanish interest me a lot too. |

More assembly, more paint, less parts to finish and release.
Remeber to say which version would you like to assemble, because I will only do four of them.

It's funny, but when I was placing the "skin" of the engines, I couldn't stop thinking in socks. It was the sentation that gave the part when moving over its final placement.
Anyway, once the rest of the engine is assembled, just remain to design the propelers, the "chin", the float struts, the machine guns and the radio mast. And, then, of course, shuffling all the parts to decrease the amount of pages to print, finishing the instructions, upscaling to 1:33, painting the other three versions, the covers and at last uploading the planes so you can enjoy them.

Finishing the assembly of the cowls.
The He 115 will include oil streaks and dirt on the plane, not much because this planes were well cared. The identification marks were painted too, a detail that only afects my model, of course. Now, to assemble the floats.
