A simple improvement for the landing gear main struts is to insert a metal wire ( even a large paperclip is OK, or a music wire ).

Hi

Thanks for all kind comments

The remaining parts for the chassis ... the suspension with shock absorbers

Bend the flaps well in front, a piece of toothpick inside ... and connect with the shock absorber, a wire is inserted into the thin support for reinforcement

With the remaining small parts, the chassis is ready for installation

Sincerely
Kurt

Due to the great accuracy of fit, the installation is very easy ... and the bird stands on its own two feet

And another preview of the next construction phase, the radial engine

Sincerely
Kurt

That looks like a very sturdy landing gear. Well done Kurt, good to notice that everything fits well. If I ever start to build my version, I know which background information to look for!

Cheers,
Erik
