Very nice , Isaac. I do like the separate control surfaces.

Looks very nice, clean and detailed aircraft, hope to see more of it. Actually it's an Ouragan with swept wings. It was refused by the Isreali AF, who prefered to whait for the Myster IVA.

aircraft development in the 1950's was so rapid, that they became almost irrelevant or under performers by the time they entered service. Even the Mystere 4 was improved quickly with the Super Mystere.

Today it takes 20+ years to develop and thus an aircraft has constant upgrades to keep them in service.

Those were the days.

You are right Isaac. A major disadvantage of it is that in the 50's and 60's designers had experiance with 5-10 programes. Today a designer is lucky if he has 2 sucssefuel programs (in the sam company).

Exclamation Wing tips

The wing tips on the Mystere 2c were squared off and not rounded in the kit design.

I made a quick flat end plate and cut to fit.

As for the position lights, I used colored pens on card stock and then dropped Cyanoacrylate ( Super glue ) to form the lens cover .

Exclamation Ejection seat

The kit designer must have gotten tired and just created this strange looking seat
-img_3607.jpg
-img_3609.jpg

I decided to use a scaled down seat from Yoav Mirage 3 ( even though it is not correct, I needed some semblance of real seat there ).
