I have this model.
I wish I could find it in storage.
I had eleven months to build it.
Now, I'm back to work.

I did download the XB-70 Valkyrie from Ken West.

Wow!

Hello all,

Last post I was working on the wing leading flaps, that are finally done.

Maine activity were the nose and main landing gears. It is a mix of the original model parts and scratch parts. Next need to deside on the level of detailing in the landing gear wheels.

Next are the sheels detailing and airctaft radome, didn't like the part provided.

Hi Mor, I'll be curious about how you will handle the radome. Are you going to detail the wheel wells? The model looks very simple, especially in relation to the landing gear that you upgraded....

Cheers,
Erik

Mor54 - you are getting really nice done this A-7 Corsair.
(One of my favourite cold war jets by the way).

I got this model as an original first issue, but no chances to start it as I am focusing on my own projects.

Anyway, I am watching your efforts with a big interest and I am sure with your skills you will get the Corsair's nose done really nice

Good luck Mor!

Thanks Erik and Cybermac for yor interest and kind comments. For you questions:

@ Erik - The model offers detailing of the landing gear doors, so it will be a mix of model parts and scratchbuild. For the weels,I will add details, need to decide to which depth.

@ Cybermac - Did the nose from 4 conical parts. Next is to smooth the connection lines and paint it black.

That's very nicely done with these extra details at the nose gear. Great work, Mor.

Cheers,
Erik
