Thanks everybody. Here are some shots of the underside. The lighting is nicer...maybe I should take new shots in natural light...
You can see the pastels I added for the desert spray caused by the wheels etc.

Here is a link to the build too if you are interested: Halinski Curtiss Tomahawk IIB: A slow but steady build

Anyway, thanks for looking.

Absolutely awesome model Dan. I bought a Halinski F-14 kit that I've been hesitant to start because it's seems so intimidating. Just looking for the courage to start it

JoeMon...
DO IT! It will take a long time but will be worth it. The biggest pitfall with these kits is getting tired of it or just simply loss of MOJO after you start out with such high hopes. I just took each piece as a model in and of itself and that really helped me. I can't say there was a part of this model that was a "chore" to do since it all took head-scratching and lots of fiddling (in a good way). Keeps the ol' noodle in gear and interested.

When I felt like it was too much or difficult, I just looked at Igor's Sherman Tank and then everything snapped back into perspective!

Anyway, in all seriousness, give it a go and just try to keep making slow and steady progress.

verry beautiful model.I always say that i cannot compare papercraft with plastic models. The satisfaction that you feel when you transform little pieces of paper in wonderfull things is unique.
