Thank you Hans, Isaac, Burning Beard, Tom, Mike1158, rmks2000, Yoav, Gary and Dan - I'm glad you like the end result. The aerial is steel wire with a thickness of 0.2mm, I'm not sure if that's too thick - I wouldn't know a suitable alternative - if anyone does, I'll be happy to learn!
Well, the final picture gallery. The pictures were taken with artificial lighting, and the last one with flash light. Erik |

And herewith the final pictures, now taken by daylight . I hope you enjoy them.
I thank you all for following this thread, as I said before, it was a very enjoyable model to make and certainly not too difficult. Before signing off, there's something I want to share with you. In his working life, my father was an aeronautical engineer and part time Aerodynamics professor at Delft University. He planted the seeds for my interest in modeling and aviation in general, ever since I was a young boy. Stories about his flying lessons during his studies and obtaining his license made me go for it myself, back in the years between 2001-2003. I’m sad to say that this great and well respected man passed away on April 20th, at the age of 85, during the days I was working on the canopy. Thanks for everything dad – this one’s for you, I gave it my best shot. Erik |

Thanks for sharing Erik. A perfect build. I'm sure that your father would be proud of the amazing builds that you do. Very sorry for your loss.
