Horizontal fins and elevators
here are the parts
 the support structure  dry fit  On   add the separate elevators and the fillets    Note that I will glue what appears to be the open edges toward the end of the build. Isaac

Landing gear prep
Wheels first
The wheels are laminated card which I cut using a circular cutter. They are slightly oversized as they will be shaped to size later   Here are the rest of the gear parts  This is the sketch for the wheels. Please note that the nose gear actuator shown here is behind the strut. That is wrong. The gear retracts forward, so the actuator needed to be in front of the strut.  wheels are shaped  and ready for painting  wheels are painted using Tamiya paint  Isaac

Landing gear
the struts are installed first
  Next are the wheels.    nose gear  Make sure that the struts and wheels provide the proper stance on the ground. This plane has a slight nose up, so the main gear is somewhat lower. I have seen other Mig-15 and 17 builds that show a tall stance on the wheels which is wrong.  Isaac
