1/200 J-8ii Finback

It's been a while since I last designed much--i've mostly been working on recoloring my fencers when i have been making papermodels. The finback is a plane that I'm not sure if it's ever been made out of paper, but I think its later versions look pretty cool so I decided to design it myself. The design process for this one went very quickly and I think I will wrap this project up within the next month (not a lot of recoloring options for this one). Here is the first prototype:

Let me know what you think!

J-8II was a true beauty, I took those photos ten years ago at SAC Aviation Exhibition Garden in Shenyang, at the time the museum was about to close for renovation and they were shipping new exhibits, the one in photos was the third prototype of J-8II and the Active Control Technology demonstrator(and probably a good recolor choice), still can't forget the feeling sitting in that cockpit today.

Can't wait to see your work and final results.

Not sure what was up with the images, they still appear on my end
I screenshotted them to reduce their size so they can be attached (probably at the expense of some photo quality, but bad pics are better than no pics!)

Working on tweaking a few parts to get the nose and engines to blend better, but i should have a better prototype soon! Model will be free of course
