This is quite a project.
Rhino, haven't used it but have known of it for several years via people who build boats, the real ones.
Ahh, those 3D printed bending jigs are a grand idea!

And speaking of 3D printing ...
A few years back ...
It was interesting watching railway modelers, sci-fi modelers, miniatures gamers, making full use of 3D printing while the scale armor and airplane plastic modelers were on their forums discussing whether there would ever be any hobby use for 3D printing.

Sry I don’t have them with me right now but the paper cutter I use is called the silhouette cameo and I use a resin style 3D printer.

Yea…rhino is great for papermodels because you don’t need amazing surfacing but it’s line work is unrivaled. If you have it available I would definitely invest in a 3D printer because it saves sooooo much time and makes everything so much faster. It’s funny that some people didn’t think they would be useful. Papermodels don’t even have plastic parts but 3D prints still have its place.

The paper cutter is a silhouette cameo 3…if you want to do custom paper models with lots of complicated part I would say this tool is a necessity.

The 3d printer is a anycubic proton… pretty outdated with the rate of 3d printing development but it gets the job done.
