The pilot's office looks nice. The silver paint on the new nose panels adds very nicely to the kit.

Simply a great model and build, Isaac! I'd say that the color differences in the various skin panels and nose look perfectly natural. The level of detail in the cockpit is very appealing to the eye.

Cheers,
Erik

Erik

It is definitely an improvement considering the issues I had earlier.

Thanks

Isaac

Cool Landing gear

I purchased these wood wheels for an F-86 over 10 years ago when Gomix was offering a variety of wood turned wheels ( Back then I made my own wood wheels on my mini lathe; today, I like the stacked card stock wheels or plastic/resin versions ).

Isaac, she is looking very nice. I think that the surgery gives your version of the F-86 a uniqueness.

Will you be adding the drop tanks too?

Gary

For this build, I will omit the drop tanks .

I would like to build this model again sometimes in the future with the lesson learned here. So I will either purchase a replacement or maybe a repaint of my scans is better ( I also want to get a different nose art )
