1/60 scale 787-9 with Full Interior - Part 1

Hey all! I've been working on this custom 787-9 for a good while now, and am focusing on accuracy and detail. The flaps and slats on the wings work along with all of the doors. So far I have the business and front end of the cabin done(not including the doors) along with the wing box frame and inner left wing.

PROCESS
First I had built everything in CAD using a program called Rhino and had everything laid out on letter sized sheets.

For each section I built the internal skeleton first

After, I would cover each part with skin or interior panels

EXTRAS
Door Test - Testing out hinges from cad

Flap test - Made this to get the right angles and lengths for the flaps

Original parts
Made these ages ago using the same template but with much worst quality

That's an amazing model. That is a lot of work.

A work of art! How did you cut the parts so tight and uniformly? Do you have a laser cutter?

Thank you! I use a paper cutter for almost all of the parts. It helps save tons of time and increase accuracy immensely. For parts that are repeated like the windows I also have ways to bend them extremely quickly using 3D printed rigs.

That's interesting, can you show us a picture of such a paper cutter (a scissor?) and 3d rigs?
