Mitsubishi A6M5 Paper Model

Mitsubishi A6M5 Model 52 "Zero" Paper Model Scale 1:48

Build time: 26 hours
Parts count: 77 pieces with the smallest piece being 5mm tall and wide
Length: 17.5 cm
Width: 20.5 cm
Custom transparent canopy molded from plastic cover roll
Custom 7.7 Type 97 aircraft machine guns made from paper clips

HF Antenna was taken from 0.4 mm nylon monoline

Features:
Cockpit canopy can be opened
The propeller spins

It was a fun little project as I tried to experiment on using parts outside of the template.

I made a stop motion assembly video of it. If you're interested, you can check it out here: Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero Paper Model Stop Motion - YouTube

Thank you! The stop motion made the building process much more longer but the end product was worth it!

I like your model, and I enjoyed watching the model assemble itself in your video.
