A great looking fuselage, Dan. She's starting to take shape.

Thanks, Folks!
I got the wing center section done and skinned. It has a rather interesting shape at the center leading edge. You can read that as "swing and a miss" on my part. The wheel wells were also above my pay scale. Since I won't be displaying it upside down, I'm not too worried. ALL will be deftly fixed later with some partial fillets but for now, it's full steam ahead! In the last shot Ive offered up the wing to check initial fit. Looking ok and pretty smooth. I'm liking this model very much!

Dan

It's coming together wonderfully. Nice work.

Dan

consider keeping the canopy open for this build.

Thanks, Don, Don and Isaac! And yes, Isaac. I agree the cockpit will be open...

I got the wing tips done, installed and then I glued the wing to the fuselage. The ailerons have been offset to match my control column in the cockpit. The fillet area took some care, but it looks ok to me. It really helps to have the disruptive green camo on there as it tends to hide my little foibles.

All in all, looking pretty neat. I think I'll do the stab and elevators tomorrow and then the cowling. I'm saving the engine for last. Looks pretty darn complicated to me!

More soon and thanks for looking,
Dan

Complicated it may be but I know you will find a way to make it look easy. It's what you voodoo. Nice airframe.

Thanks, Mike. Fast approaching that part now!

Tonight I got the tails done...again the off set on the rudder is per the pedals in the cockpit. It's really starting to look like something now. I may make the cowling tomorrow just to see how it will all go together. This is a really neat kit thus far and sure looks the part. It'll look cool next to a Halinski Zero I have!

More soon...Dan
