Well...I finished putting all the little bits and pieces on like the step, the gun sight, pitot tubes, Hucks starter attachment, landing light with a little crystal bead, aerials and canons. And those little bullet-shaped things on the trailing edge. I think they may be part of the actuators for the butterfly flaps. THEY were fun to make!
All that's left is the canopy and I'll see if I can get that finished ASAP and she'll be done! Thanks for looking...Dan |

Nice job Dan. Shouldn't the canopy turn out as planned you can always consider to leave the model in its current cabrio version.... LOL!!

Firstly, you are doing a great job on this model. Fantastic!!! Not sure what expertise you need from me, but let me know. In essence, I recommend the Shoki to be displayed with the canopy sliding all the way back so you can enjoy viewing the cockpit. Here are some pictures from the web. and a 3 view It is in Japanese and does refer to the two bullet like fairing at the wing trailing edge. It is too small for me to make out, but maybe someone that is more versed in the Kanji or Hiragana can make it out. I suspect it is the color rather than what it is for though. here is a picture of a completed Hasegawa 1/32 scale Shoki ( not mine ). Isaac

Hi Dan looks nice. It sure is nice to get the hang of vacuforming, I usually don't get a good one right off, only once in a while, for a long time I used the push method for molding, you get clearer ones that way sometimes but hard on the fingers. You probably have the skill already but Yoav gave a superb tutorial.
