I think I know!
We like the color scheme because for many of us, this was the first time we saw it battling Spitfires.

Very nice work, and thank you for sharing.

ps: Well the big radiator of the C compared to the E may be what fill a bit off.

Thanks Pablo. That's right mate, it's highly likely Spits and 109's were the planes that sparked most schoolboys interest in aviation.

Thanks Pér!

Bruno had already released a Hurricane with these markings, but I've done a more detailed version.
This Mk.I was flown by Sqn Ldr R.R. Stanford Tuck of RAF 257 Sqn during The Battle Of Britain.
Bruno really captures the lines of the Hurricane.

Will be submitted to Ecards if you want a copy.

I agree. He got it spot on .I build a number of his Hurricanes including repaints. I find it much more enjoyable build than Spitfire due to shape of wings.

Very nice model.

Thanks Karol. The Spitfire, though undeniably a great aircraft, tends to get most of the attention.

Next repaint is a Piper NE-1 assigned to Airship Sqn Thirty-Two (ZP-32) as a station hack at NAS Moffett Field, Calif in 1944.

As usual will be sent to Ecards.

Navy Piper? I haven't seen one before. Being and airship squadron I thought they would use something like Cessna Bobcat or similar for moving parts and such.
A looker,no doubt. Very nice model.
