Great builds. It's neat to see the piper in blue.

Yes. Good model of a historic airplane.

This is a Miles M.14 Magister of the Royal Australian Air Force ca 1938. A repaint, and one of two RAAF Magisters that I've done; the other a desert camo wartime 451 Sqn version that will feature on here at some point when I catch up with test building- probably about 2050.

Thanks again for looking.

Thanks Don.

To me, it's sort of the British equivalent of the Fairchild PT-19.

Russians had their own version of basic trainer like this.It was a Yakovlev UT-2. Amazingly it was used during winter 41/42 in armed role as improvised ground attack plane.

Italians had Nardi FN 305 trainer made on same principles as well.

Great model.Miles Magister and Master are often mentioned in memoirs of Polish pilots training in RAF system ,usually pretty fondly.

Next up is a repaint and modification of the S&P Boeing F4B-4 into a P-12E.

Apart from the obvious change to USAAC paint, the vertical tail was reshaped along with the pilot's headrest fairing in which I know the last F4B-4's housed a liferaft, so I'm assuming the later P-12E's did the same.

The first set of pics is of a 27th Pursuit Sqn machine, with the other set being a 95th Attack Sqn.

The latter is already available from Ecards, and I'll be submitting the other ASAP.
