Great model. Much more detailed than the only Connie that I have built Back when I was fairly new to the craft, I built Bruno's Connie (much simpler) for a client who retired from the TWA overhaul base. Ray and I shared the same birthday, and I built it for our birthday. Called him on a Friday to see if he wanted to do lunch on Monday and he said at 93, he didn't plan that far ahead. When I called on Monday, he was in hospice. Spent the whole day with him. For the next three days, it was his favorite possession. When I went to his funeral, they had a 'Memories' table and the little plane was front and center. I was never so humbled for an itty bitty little gift.
