Nice model. FG has a good selection of these vintage racers.

Thanks Larry. I'm pretty sure I have most of them in my 'to-do' collection so they'll all make an appearance in this thread at some point.

Another Schneider Trophy subject, this is a Macchi M.33; one of two that were entered by the Italians for the 1925 event held at Baltimore, Maryland.
No.6, piloted by Riccardo Morselli, was scratched from the race because of ignition problems while No.7, flown by Giovanni de Briganti finished third overall. This is a repaint (S&P) and will be submitted to Ecards.

I remember trying to build a Macchi M.33 and Curtiss R3C kits after having watched and then purchased the Porco Rosso DVD... I lost my S#!% and almost divorced by wife and disowned my kids because I could not build them right... kudos to you my friend for a job well done.

Thanks guys.
Falco, it was a tricky one for sure. That engine pod tested me out!

It is an elegant and colorful model.. I've always liked the Schneider Trophy planes since seeing an old news film on tv about them when I was a kid.
