Draken is one of my favorite jets; is fun to watch one coming together.

Details... details... + poll!
Late last night i started the wing details at the same time as assembly of the 1st engine and its wing. This was due to me being in a different room and not having access to my plastic card i use to laminate formers to cardboard. It looks like i will finish the model soon so heres a poll for the next model
Next model - Poll Sorry for such a low quality photo if its any larger it doesnt upload and i haven't figured out the adding photos via url yet |

Most likely the next post will be the completed model without landing gear, I dont want to risk damaging the model currently as it dries (the wing seems to be struggling to stay attached) but why no landing gear? Well I simply do not have the skill to build such small parts with the 2ply paper WMV used however if i make it 1ply paper the gear wont be strong enough to hold the model. One day i will attach the landing gear just not today. Now i must decide my next model, probably between a gripen or the super etendard
I quite enjoyed the build, and it makes me wish we here in the USA had a cheaper way of purchasing pre printed kits from online stores, thank you to user Modelperry for the model ![]() |
