Smile Northrop N3PB in 1/100 Scale - Draco Models

Northrop N3PB, at the time of its introduction, was one of the most modern seaplanes in the world, made specifically for Norway, it did not operate on Norwegian soil but operated from the Arctic in RAF colors but manned by Norwegian pilots, it was used until 1943 in the Arctic Circle against Kriegsmarine.

The Draco model is available for purchase from ecardmodels in several versions and in two scales (1/72 and 1/33). Like other Alejandro models, it is not simple to assemble, but very accurate. Besides the rarity of the subject itself.

The pic show N3PB landed next to an original Reader's Digest Selections compilation from 1942 that belonged to my grandfather with the original Northrop Aviation advertisement about what was then one of the most modern Seaplanes of all. times.

Merry Christmas to all!!

I always thought that the N3PB was a good-looking airplane, and your build of Darco's design perfectly reveals its appearance. Kudos to both of you.
