Once I do the test for the corrected nose, the beta test phase is completed , props and landing gear wont be tested since these parts come directly from the blue prints, Ill build the final version of the b-23 printed on A3 which makes it bigger!!!

In a very few days ecardmodels will have available two hight quality repaints of the B-23 Dragon, one in 1/72 scale and another in 1/48. The price is a real bargain.
Both represent the US ARMY 9-17B with short nose.

Nice work on the nose, yankeekilo.
The repaint looks good, Draco! I imagine you know that your repaint is of the B-23 at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. It is Douglas manufacturer’s number 2723 (USAAF Serial 39-37). I do not know where it was assigned during the war, but it is in the markings of the 17th Bombardment Group and I THINK in the markings of Aircraft No. 9 of the 95th Bombardment Squadron. I think this because there is an image of 17B/10 that is positively identified as an aircraft of the 95th BS. It seems likely that Aircraft Nos. 9 and 10 were in the same squadron. The only operational units that flew the B-23 were the 34th and 95 BS of the 17th BG and the 89th Recon Squadron. An image of B-23 Serial 39-36 is on display at McChord AFB in the markings of Aircraft No. 10 of the 89th Recon Squadron (89R/10). Another potential repaint?
