Fuselage largely completed and wings dry-fitted to see how big it is on a 3 ft round table. Man, just can't rush when building big. And so, took breaks every now and then as excuses to leave the workbench.

Great progress. If that apple was a crab apple only an inch in diameter, it would still be a big model. For a real stunning wall display, if we could increase scale to the wing span of the Rose DC-3 ...

It's designed to print on 8.5in by 14in cardstock. So if you can find somewhere to print it on larger stock, yikes.

The apple has gone atop the AN225 which is now taking shape of a gigantic airplane.
I must say it's hard for me to move it around in my small room without paying attention to other stuffs nearby. Or else, mishaps would happen |

Engines, gonna need five more of this. Material used - aluminum wire 0.5mm, easy to cut and sand and fix with CA glue. |
