Billy,

This actually looks like a good idea. If it works as anticipated, I'll modify the instructions to show this...

The outboard parts are shaped to conform to the rib sections; this may be more difficult to do this way, but the advantages will probably outweigh this.

Here's the wingstructure; everything fits like a glove..
The only flaw I could find is that the arrow in diagram pionting-out part P is pionting at the wrong part
BTw, from the diagram it looks like the 4 rectangular shapes inside the gear-bay has to be cut out, if so maybe you can mark them with a cross
I marked every former with a little arrow where the top is, after they're cut out you can easly make a mistake..

Looks like the start of another cleanly assembled build for the Dutchman! Thanks for the ruler in the wing skin picture - this is a big one!

@ Ron, I threw my "Z.."-cube away.. have to make a new one, btw, the ruler has centimeters on it...
The whole stucture feels fine, no worries about flapping wings after a while

Yes, Red River Silver is phantastic for metal aircraft. I will spray my next model with a bit more matt spray to take out the slightly exagerated effect of metal. I was also intrigued by the way you make the decals to avoid the less colourful printing effect directly on this silver paper. Good idea.
For the newer ones to the forum, I include some pictures of the De Havilland Comet designed by Lex. To get good white and blue colours I printed the fuselage and vertical tailplane of the model twice, one on silver paper, and one on normal white paper. By cutting the top of the fuselage (above the yellow cheatline under the windows) I substitutred the silver fuselage top with the bright white print. The result is a metallic airliner with good white and blue colours on teh fuselage.
Greetings
