Great shots Billy. At first glance your model does look like the real deal.

Hello Billy,
I concur with all the good comments about this model. I have downloaded the model and will probably get around to it after I complete my B-17 project. How would you like to do your metallic skills on a 1/44th scale B-17? I'm open to supplying you with line drawings and a colorized version or whatever you require for a Beta build. I' still redesigning the engine nacelles and cowlings but hope to have them completed before too long. Regards Ron40 |

I read several post ago about the discussion on decals versus stickers versus metal paper versus grey paper,..has anyone attempted to repaint the hustler so its a simulated brushed aluminum in photoshop? that way the white is solved on the decals that need white and there is no need for an extra step of applying decals? with kens permission I would like to try a small sample section to see what it would look like,..

1/32 Ken L West B-58 again - follow-up
ecardmodels.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=1317]1/32 B-58 Hustler by Ken West quote modified
Hi Ken, I was looking for a 1/72 Tu-95 the other day and somehow found the B-58 on ecards. I read all the items in the thread and wanted to know if any updates to the kit were made since? Also, are the applications of the markings and use of the Red River paper discussed in the instructions? Finally, my challenge: I have no ink jet printer. I will have to go to FedEX Kinkos or a commercial printer. Any concerns (other than cost) here? Thanks! Paul direct: [email protected] |
