TA4-J Skyhawk Remake
5 Attachment(s)
Hi to all
for my next build i have decided to remake & recolor this old IAFM . this is something i allways wanted to do but wasent able to do untill now beacase my photoshop skills were very por untill recently. some twenty odd years ago when i was in the army as a skyhawk electrician i had the chance to fly one of these planes as a bonus in the rear seat (no i"m not a pilot) so this model will be a tribute to that plane (tail no 712). 1st pic -the original model built avery long time ago the original one did not have a cockpit and was 1:50 scale i enlarged it to 1:32 scale and added the cockpits from modelarts A4N so the net pic are of that. |

next is the front & nose .
i added alot of panels inlet openings and decals that were missing in the original model based on personal pictures i had from my service time in the blok and other material i got from the net. the colors are alittle diffrent from the A4N but i think they resemble the plane & the photeg i have alot more .... |

An excellent and challenging project that you are obviously doing quite well!

Nice work Moshe. I also worked from 1974 until 1982 on 544 and 712 as part of the armament ground crew and started building this kit a few years ago.
I got as far as finishing the fuselage, when ModelArt's A-4N landed on my computer and I abandoned this one :D |
Looking good! I've always liked the A4.

Looks great! Doing or re-doing this kit is on the list for things to build in the future. You've exceeded my imagination on how to do it, thanks!
