Boeing 377 Stratocruiser-looking for references

Hey folks, working on a project and need some references. Specifically, I need drawings of the Boeing 377 stratocruiser. My preference is something with sections, since I am have a lot of trouble with the tail and nose shape. Also, wing cross sections would be nice since there is a lot of conflicting information on their actual shape. While drawings are good, photos are needed too. Any photos of the engines and, again, the wings as well as general photos of the rest of the aircraft. I have tried Google and found some good stuff but I really need more. Photos/Drawings of the C/KC-97 Stratotanker are of equal value and are needed as well since I plan on doing those too. Thanks in advance!

Sections should be easy.
Circular and circular<G>

I've got an official dimensioned 3 view of a KC-97 at work I'll scan for you. Not lots of help, but some.(Our tear-down guy crewed them through out their, and his, entire career)

I've got the "Airliner tech" book of the 377. I'll see what it has that might be of use to you.

Your best bet is Bob Banka's Scale Aircraft Documention. Google it. The prices are very reasonable.

I may have the Kc-97 plan at home. PM me as a reminder. If I have it, I'll do a scan for you.

Yippee!

I'd love to see this cardmodel come to life.

My brother has a book from MBI Publishing (www.motorbooks.com) published in 2001 called "Boeing Stratocruiser" by Robert Hewson. It's a great reference in terms of pictures, and the text, covering a lot of the variants, but very few technical drawings of use.

Might be worth checking into.

Super - Would love to see this model available. Long ago, near the dawn of time (in the 1950's, that is), Schreiber published a Stratocruiser model in Pan Am livery. It was pretty crude - I've seen it come up exactly once on eBay in the last 8 years, and somebody scarfed it up for big bucks. Thanks, Rob Tauxe
