beta build ecard models model cardboard scale 1:50 P 39

well, here I am again, this time doing a beta build of the P 39 by model card board in 1:50 scale, made a bit of progress today, a very beautifully designed kit, 1:50 really brings me back to my P$^%#c model days

P-39s were infamous for their lateral instability in the roll regime. It was mostly because of the torque of the mid-fuselage mounted engine. We used it for pilot training early in WWII, and also as a lend-lease aircraft to send to the Russians. Many American pilots hated the thing, because it would snap roll and dive, and with the car-door type entry, they had trouble getting out. They even wrote a little song about it.

Don't give me a P-39.
Don't give me a P-39.
It will snap.
It will Roll.
It will dig a big hole.
Don't give me a P-39.

Your build looks fantastic!!
